Wavesat Appoints Victor Menasce as VP Product Management |

Industry Veteran Joins Leading WiMAX Company
Dorval, Canada – January 14, 2008 – Wavesat, a leading supplier and developer of WiMAX™ Fixed and Mobile semiconductor solutions announced the appointment of Victor Menasce as Vice President Product Management. Victor is a 21 year industry veteran and brings extensive experience in wireless, processing, telecom and semiconductors.
In his new role, Victor will be responsible for defining and managing the strategic roadmap for Wavesat’s entire product portfolio. His additional areas of focus include application engineering and customer support.

Prior to joining Wavesat, Victor was Chief Technical Officer with Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (Nasdaq:AMCC). He has also held senior positions with Somerset Technologies, Tundra Semiconductor (TSX:TUN) and Nortel Networks (NASDAQ: NT). Victor is an Electrical Engineering graduate of Dalhousie University.
