Main Responsibilities

• Represent the company in IOT projects around the world: testing and integration activities with different base station manufacturers in their labs or in operators’ facilities
• Troubleshoot IOT issues at customer premises and provide feedback to technical teams
• Coordinate and assist efforts related to IOT programs with different customers
• Support other IOT team members assigned to overseas projects
• Support certification and acceptance activities
• Support several internal teams in system development and integration tasks

Technical Requirements:

• Understanding of LTE, WiMAX, UMTS, GSM, CDMA2000
• Good understanding of RAN
• Experience with lab setup, Protocol conformance and RF equipment/SW
• LTE IOT experience (asset)
• Experience with network administration and configuration (TCP/IP, Ethernet, Routing, DHCP, SNMP, etc)
• Drive test experience (asset)
• Experience with test automations and scripts development (asset)

General Requirements:

• B.Electrical Eng. (telecommunications) or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Telecommunications Industry
• Experience in IOT (mobile cell networks)
• System wireless communications (RAN) background
• Language skills : English written and oral, French or other language (asset)

Skills Requirements :

• Ability to plan and organize their own workload
• Ability to establish interpersonal relationship easily
• Very good communicator: facilitator experience
• Ability to take pressure in fast paced environment
• Expected to travel internationally and sometimes on short notice with variable durations
• Professional, proactive and result-oriented
• Initiative, autonomy and resourcefulness is a must
