Scientist

Reporting to the VP of Core Technology, the candidate will design and implement algorithms in both Matlab and on silicon. Strong ability to resolve problems and work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

• M.sc. in Electrical engineering or Physics, PHD strongly preferred
• 4 years of related experience
• Advanced mathematical skills
• Fluency in MATLAB or simulating technologies at the baseband and system level
• Expertise in RF measurement techniques, microwave and communication
• Experience with advanced modulation techniques particularly OFDM and OFDMA
• Experience in mobile systems.
• Expertise with advanced antenna techniques like MIMO and beamforming is essential
• Experience in designing algorithms for hardware (e.g. FPGA, ASIC) and software (e.g.DSP) applications
• Knowledge of 4G protocols, specifically LTE and WiMAX.
• Bilingual, English/French
