The Odyssey 9010 provides a very flexible baseband platform for devices supporting:
- LTE, 3GPP Release 8
- WiMAX IEEE 802.16e Wave 2

The Odyssey 9010 delivers wireless IP network connections at broadband speeds to home, work and on the go. It is designed for consumer electronics devices in nomadic and mobile applications. Flexible Bandwidth Frequency Support
The Odyssey 9010 provides digital RF interfaces, enabling designers to access a broad range of FDD and TDD bandwidth frequencies used by both LTE and WiMAX operators. This is especially important given the highly fragmented and variable BWA bandwidths available to operators around the world.
Low Power Consumption
The Odyssey 9010 continues to address the challenge of battery life and heat dissipation through extensive power management features. Odyssey 8500 is fully compliant with 802.16e Wave2 mobile WiMAX profile and its capability extends to other emerging BWA standards such as XG-PHS. It is also the first solution that supports media independent hand-off as defined in the IEEE 802.21 standard.
