Evolutive WiMAX MC236 MAC Coprocessor
The MC236 is a core implementing a low-level hardware MAC coprocessor for the IEEE P802.16-2004 Wireless MAN-OFDM MAC layer protocol and is intended to be integrated in an FPGA or ASIC as a companion device to the DM256 PHY level ASIC. The MC236 fits into a small FPGA and can therefore be used with a wrapping logic to plug it with a wide selection of popular processors and different RF boards.
