Evolutive™ WiMAX CPE MAC Software
Wavesat’s IEEE 802.16 CPE MAC (Medium Access Control) is designed to run with Wavesat’s EvolutiveTM DM256 series WirelessMAN-OFDMä chips. The Intellectual Property (IP) is provided in the form of source code. The source code has been designed and tested on the Wavesat’s DM256 Reference Kit (RK) which currently uses the Intel XScale IXP422 as host and application processor. The operating system is a real-time Linux based OS. However, the software is not specific to the use of this processor or OS and can be ported to other platforms.
Wavesat’s WiMAX CPE MAC is based on WiMAX Forum Certified™ CPE MAC software.
